Donation Criteria

Requirements for submitting an application

• Tax status must be 501 (c) (3)
• 2 years of forms 990 must be submitted with application
• Review of IRS Statistics of Income (SOI) for 2 years
• Charity actively solicits donations from general public, no grants or loans
• Charity must be based in the U.S., however, the scope of a charity’s work can be international
• Letter of intent submitted with application as to the specific use of the funds donated

Application assessment

• All applications will be assessed by the Board of Directors of the Vernon Wells Perfect 10 Foundation
• All applicants will be responded to within 6 weeks of submitting their application
• Verification that all information given is clear and legible
• Review of the applying charity to ensure their purpose is shared with the Vernon Wells Perfect 10 Foundation
