October 11, 2011 VWP10 enjoyed serving with Our Daily Bread to feed the homeless in the Denton Community on World Homeless Day. You can read more on the Denton Record Chronicle's website here. October 10, 2011 World Homeless Day The purpose of World Homeless Day is to draw attention to homeless people's needs locally and provide opportunities for the community to get involved. VWP10 is excited to partner with Our Daily Bread on World Homeless Day! We hope to help serve around 200 homeless struggling families. We ask our volunteers to help supply us with Bibles (children's Bibles, adult and student Bibles, ESV and NIV preferred) to hand out to the individuals and the families we will serve. March 28, 2011 Vernon Wells' Perfect 10 Charity opens new facility for single mothers and children in need Our efforts now expand into Denton County with the recent acquisition of a 2.2-acre facility. In addition to providing a safe, temporary home, we strive for our residents to have access to education, parenting classes, counseling services and employment opportunities to enable a continuous quality of life for both parent and child. We at Perfect 10 Charity look forward to establishing strong relationships with the people and organizations within the Denton community as we serve our residents.
